On the Course Reports page, access a report's menu and select Run. On the Run Reports page, select the Report Specifications. Options vary: Select Format: Choose an output format from the menu.
Course Performance displays how a single course performs against a selected set of goals. Overall Summary of User Activity displays user activity for all areas of your course, as well as activity dates, times, and days of the week. Use this report to view student access as well as how often course tools are used.
If a course report includes a large number of users, you may need to wait several minutes or longer for a report to generate. PDF and HTML formats open directly in a new window. Excel and Word prompt you to save the file first. To print reports, use the print function in the application window that the report opened in.
Single Course User Participation Report displays the number of user submissions in your course for assignments, tests, discussions, blogs, and journals within the chosen time frame. You don't need to grade an item for data to be included in the report. The data is provided in a Microsoft ® Excel ® spreadsheet (XLS).
Select Students: To run a report on a single student, select the student name from the menu. Select Users: Select one or more users for the report. For Windows, to select multiple users in a list, press the Shift key and select the first and last users.
Report data is automatically refreshed every 4 hours for all reports except activity reports. Activity data is refreshed once per day at midnight. Your institution can refresh the report data manually ...
When the users fills in the form, he gets enrolled. Each enrollment can have states (such as: pending, accecpt, refused, canceled). User should be able to revisit their enrollments. Administrator can update fields and change the state of that enrollment.
This part uses the forms module to create a base form template that can used to collect enrollment information . This makes it easy to reuse the forms on several offering (see below). This is similar to what the survey module does, but there are more options to control whether or not a user can update his enrollment.
From the Control Panel, select Evaluation and then Course Reports ( 1 ).
Select the Action Link and then select Run ( 2) next to the report you want to generate. In this example, Course Activity Overview is selected.
On the Run Reports page, select the Report Specifications ( 3 ) (Start Date and End Date) then select Submit to run the report.
The report file displays in a new window ( 4 ). You may need to enable pop-ups for your browser. Report Options ( 5) allows you to select a Printable View of the report or Download to Excel. Selecting Download Report ( 6) will download the report to an Excel spreadsheet.
Report Types: There are three types of reports you can run: Summary, Detail, and Logs. Use the Summary report type to get a summary of total enrollments, completions, and percentage complete numbers for each course. Use the Detail report type to get a detailed report of all individual user data for each course.
Determine if you need this report frequently (schedule) or on demand (run).
Whether you want to run a Summary or a Detailed Course Enrollment Totals report, you have an option to schedule those reports to run on a regular basis. For details, see Scheduling Recurring Reports.
If you want to further manipulate your data and/or use additional formatting, or if your report is large and you are having problems opening it with Excel, you can download the report using one of three file types which can be selected from the drop-down menu next to the Run Summary Report button.
With the Course Reports, LMS365 allows for creating reports on a specific course for admins to view data related to the content of the course.
The Course Reports functionality is available for admins in the administration back-end.
