Students registered for the internship class are required to complete 45 work hours for each credit hour registered. A standard three-credit hour class requires 135 hours over the course of the semester, which is usually distributed over the number of weeks in the term.

Undergraduate students are limited to receiving no more than 9 internship credits from the College of Business during their FSU academic career. Students seeking 6 credit hours for one internship can do so by requesting enrollment in GEB 4941 for 6 credit hours or by requesting enrollment in two 3-credit hour internship courses (e.g. MAR 4941 & GEB 4941). Internship courses cannot be swapped, dropped, or modified after drop/add.
All Finance internships are overseen by the Internship Programs Office through a Canvas course. There are no course prerequisites for the General Business Internship course. General Business internships do not count as elective credit within a business major.
