I work as a teacher in the "hood" and have had the pleasure of meeting many of my fellow pre-meds who work with our kids here and there. It is a far cry from easy (trust me I know) and there are some AMAZING people who've stuck it out when it's gotten difficult and y'all are rockstars for that. *Awards scratch n sniff sticker*

I'm a 3rd year and have never had a break similar to this. I have assignments due Monday in the morning (the same workload) that I would have had due Sunday at midnight. I haven't been able to stop working but I would have loved a break from school.
Bruh you really gotta make me calculate by hand every time I wanna know my grade...A tad unnecessary.
I was invited to the FSU Golden Key, and I was interested in hearing from any current members as to whether or not it's worth the sign up cost.
Hey all, I’m trying to do my SSAR for my application, but it makes you enter your semester grades, not quarter; however, I did not get any semester grades, only quarter grades. What do I put down??? I don’t take take any kind of semester final, and I can’t average the two grades out because that is not nearly exact enough.
Before being accepted to the program I’m about to start, I had been a long time member of a few Facebook groups for pre-PA students. It has never crossed my mind once in asking people for advice or giving it to students to ever charge a fee.
I never thought I would see the day where I would post an acceptance post. I was accepted with a 3.03 CGPA and a 3.23 SGPA, 311 GRE, and 1300 PCE, 192 hours volunteering in the hospital, 300 community service hours at a food pantry, 96 hours shadowing a PA. I was shocked to get a call that I was accepted to the Program for the 2020-2021cycle.
Hi all! I just had my first interview this morning, and I must say I feel pretty confident about it. I feel like I was myself and that my personality shined through. Now it’s just a waiting game… I’m still so nervous and hope that I did actually interview as well as I feel I did! Hope everyone’s interviews and application processes are going great!
It’s feels so surreal! I had my second interview yesterday morning and I was called this morning with the good news! I feel so grateful to have been admitted this early in the cycle. Good luck to everyone applying this cycle ❤️
I am a reapplicant this cycle. Graduated undergrad in 2018 with an average gpa, took 26 post-bacc credits over the past 3 years while acquiring PCE, and now have finally been accepted to my first PA program. Applied to over 20 programs last cycle and was waitlisted to one school.
Is anyone interested in joining a writing group? I really want to write more often and I think it'll be fun to do so with other people!
I have heard about Phocus photography club but I can’t find any info on if it is still active or if it will be meeting in the fall, and was wondering if there are other photography-related clubs at FSU, or just ones that someone interested in photography and the outdoors would enjoy in general?
I expect the answer to be "out of your own pocket" but on my very first term I didn't get Financial Aid on time and I blew away half my savings. I don't know how often aid gets delayed but if it happens again this year I'll have to overwork myself if i want to keep taking classes.
hi everyone! i’m an incoming freshman to FSU and i play poker on occasion with my friends down in south florida and i was wondering if anybody has a game running up in tally or has any info that can help me find one? thank you !
Incoming transfer student here and I haven't had orientation yet. I've been using the class search on myFSU to prepare, and most of the classes I need are full with no other options, and all but 2 are online. The 2 in-person classes are both full that I would need an override to get into, and have online options.
FSU has a first day attendance policy, and if someone doesn't show up, they get dropped. This usually opens quite a few seats. Also, reserve caps lift and occasionally new sections are added during or right before add/drop week. Most of the time, you will be able to find a seat in the class, you just need to be patient right now.
