The short answer is that driver's ed online or in a classroom helps keeps you, the people you love, and other drivers safer. That's what matters most.
In general, certificates of completion from driver's ed do not expire. Once you've taken a driver's education class to get your license, you will not be required to take another one. However, states have different rules about timelines for completing the steps to get your license.
The good news is the most important benefits of driver's courses can last for a lifetime. You'll use what you learn in these courses every time you get behind the wheel.
The cost of a traffic ticket doesn't end with the court fees. If the citation shows up on your driver record, you will almost certainly have to face higher insurance premiums, which can wind up costing you thousands of dollars over a few years.
At I Drive Safely we believe traffic school should be easy, fast, and stress-free - that's why we provide an online driving safety course that fits your needs and your schedule.
Dreading spending an entire weekend sitting in a boring classroom lecture just to dismiss that one pesky ticket? Our online safety driving course is the better option.

If you are applying during the summer and are still enrolled in school, your last report card for the most recent school year is acceptable if it has the student’s name, a list of absences, and a complete listing of grades.
Out of state hours do not transfer to Texas. You will need to enroll into a Texas driver education program to complete the classroom and driving requirements necessary to obtain a Texas learner’s permit and driver license. Please check with DPS for more information.
When a school closure prevents a student from completing his/her driver training, all tuition and fees paid become refundable. The school owner is required to issue full refunds in accordance with Texas Education Code 1001.403. In situations when a school owner fails to issue refunds TDLR will attempt to acquire the students’ records and file a claim against the school’s bond. In most cases only partial refunds can be issued
