Crew Conversion: Taking the Changes Into Account

Conversion for each particular vehicle will be performed manually by the player. This will allow you to decide how to use such a valuable resource as Crew XP.

Commander: Face of the Crew

In battle, the vehicle will still be controlled by all crew members who belong to the particular crew. In the new system, all crew members who keep their personalities will be visually represented by a single Commander. You can change the Commander's name and surname, as well as their appearance.

Crew Skill System

Each crew will have their own Training Plan that contains five Training Courses:

Talents

Upon investing 30 Points in a specific Training Course, you will be able to choose one of the two talents available within that course. These are special skills that trigger when a certain situation occurs in battle. Unlike skills, talents become available immediately after being unlocked, and no further investment of Skill Points is required.

Instructors

All special crew members (e.g., Snow Maidens or Battle Pass heroes, etc.) will become new characters: Instructors. They will provide additional Skill Points (on top of the 10-point limit) to the crew and increase the XP earned after each battle. Instructors will be displayed in the Garage with a special icon next to the crew image.

Rewards for Participation in the Test

During the test period, you will have access to special missions on the Sandbox server. For their completion, you’ll receive useful rewards in the main game client.

Join the Test and Share Your Feedback

All of the improvements mentioned above are a new working concept that needs to be checked and thoroughly tested by players. We really need to collect as much feedback, opinions, and impressions as possible, and we hope you take an active part in the test and make your contribution to the new crew system and how it will be implemented in the game.

Stage 1: Rally Through History

Firstly, it is recommended that you look through the Tips & Strategies area of this guide to learn more about the game and its characteristics and secrets if you're unfamiliar.

Stage 2: FIA Rallycross Championship

Next, you can get the majority of the Rallycross mode trophies completed in a single season of the FIA Championship mode. This mode, again like the Rally Through History mode will allow you to select any car from the RX Supercars category, and hardcore damage and AI difficulty are up to you.

Stage 3: Custom Events cleanup before your MyTeam Grind

In this step, you will make the short task of competing whatever miscellaneous trophies you have missed thus far before starting the slightly long MyTeam Grind. These trophies aren't overly difficult, but may take some time to complete, as you can condense all of these trophies into your 20 custom events and 10 time trial events.

Stage 4: MyTeam (Career Mode)

Next, you will need to do a little grinding through MyTeam. Unlike the first DiRT Rally, there is now a more refined path through the career mode as you only need to buy a total of 10 cars (which you will need around 1,000,000 credits for).

Stage 5: Fire That Car Up... Again

This will be your make or break for the beloved Platinum trophy, as you must rank in the top tier of a Group B Daily challenge with the Audi Quattro. Some may get this first go, some may take months to get this right. If you do get it right, then you have crossed the final stepping stone to this platinum trophy. Congrats!

Car and Location Setups

For the newer players who are struggling to get to grips with how to drive the locations, or are unhappy with how certain cars handle compared to others, Guides from SkyRex and GTR Technical are helpful starting points for how you should approach a rally.
