Corolla (/kəˈrɑːlə/) is an unincorporated community located in Poplar Branch township, Currituck County, North Carolina, United States, along the northern Outer Banks. It has a permanent population of approximately 500 people; during the summer vacation season, the population surges into the thousands.

The Currituck Club, a primary and second-home community developed by the Kitty Hawk Land Company, includes 412 single-family homesites, 20 patio homes, 142 detached homes, four club cottages, 90 condominiums, and a limited amount of commercial property.
1857The Currituck Shooting Club, originally built in 1857, was the first of these grand old clubs. Rebuilt in 1879, the present cedar-shaped clubhouse and outbuildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and stand today on a 15-acre preserve at the southern tip of The Currituck Club property.
You may access the beach at the Currituck Beach Access, located near our south entrance. It is approximately 2 miles south of our main gate, and there is a county maintained public parking lot and bath house. This is also the location of our Trolley Stop, Beach Valet Service and Surf Shack all for your convenience.
The Currituck Outer Banks is on the northernmost end of the Outer Banks, making up the first 20 miles of the 50-mile-long peninsula that also houses Duck, Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. Though it borders the state of Virginia, the Currituck Outer Banks is not accessible from the Virginia border.
