In order to count toward your degree, courses at CSUN must be numbered 100-599. Courses numbered 001-099 or 600-699 will not count toward your total. Enrollment in Courses after Graduation Students interested in enrolling in courses after completing their bachelor's degree at CSUN must file a university application for graduate admission. There is a $70.00 fee payable inside Cal State Apply in order to submit the application.
To receive honors at graduation, a student must:Complete a minimum of 30 units of work in letter-graded courses at CSUN.Earn a GPA of 3.50 or above in all work taken at CSUN.Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above in all units attempted, including transfer units.

Honors Convocation is designed to celebrate a select group of students on the basis of Scholastic or Personal Achievement. Honorees will have received an email invitation as well as a physical invitation which will arrive by US postal around the same time.
The level of honors is determined as follows: Summa Cum Laude - GPA of 3.90 or above. Magna Cum Laude - GPA of 3.75 to 3.89. Cum Laude - GPA of 3.50 to 3.74.

CSUN is not much of a party school nor is it a school that is consistantly focused around football, simply because there is no football team. Attending class every day at my school is crucial to getting the best out of the education offered.

Only the first 16 semester units repeated are eligible for grade forgiveness.
If the student does not receive a C or better on the second attempt, the student will be disqualified from the program. A maximum of 6 units in the formal program may be repeated at the graduate level. The repeat grade will appear on the transcript.
Students pursuing a graduate degree must maintain a minimum 3.0 (B) average in the formal program and the cumulative grade point average. No grade below a C can be counted in the formal program. Any grade of C- or below in the formal program must be repeated after an approved course repeat form has been filed.
