Good company to work for but hard to be made full time permanent employee

Working remotely full time, especially during the pandemic, is great for work life balance and flexibility. Management is pretty good, but there doesn't seem to be many opportunities for advancement and it is tricky to be made full time.

convenient and have a very flexible working hours

tutors dont get to be paid all the time even if they are correct. the management always sides with the student. unfair treatment to the tutor's capabilities.

Can lean new things every day

Coursehero is a great website as a side hustle. But you can not do it full-time. They pay a good amount for the questions. But sometimes you get questions with more work and less payment.

Super flexible

The thing I love about my job is I can do it anywhere, anytime. I also learn a lot from this job as I do researches. You also have a choice whether to entertain the question or not. However, some students are ungrateful even if you have given the correct answers.

Tutors are underpaid and they have no say most of the time

I worked with Course Hero for 3-4 months. It was a good experience because I could choose when to work and when not to. However, I was underpaid and overworked. Students have all the power but nobody listens to tutors. My account got blocked eventually.

Incredible group of people to work with, talented, smart, and professional!

The people at Course hero are forward focused. Changes were made quickly to improve productivity and efficiency and the workplace culture was outstanding. I enjoyed the challenge of managing an international team and working with great managers who were focused on providing the best products possible.

Extra income

I just started out so I am not sure how it is long-term. However, I definitely do not think you can make a lot working here. Some students post pages of questions when it is only suppose to be one question. If the student does not review you then you do not get paid. You could help multiple students and get no money if they did not review you.
