List activities in order of importance and impressiveness. Activities listed earlier will be better remembered by admissions committees, so your child should lead with their most impactful and meaningful ones.
Enter the semester grade in the semester in which you took the course. Report Course Credits – enter credits as they appear on your transcript. Enter 1.0 in “Final” for yearlong courses.

The Common App instructions say list your activities “in order of importance to you.” Follow this instruction. The assumption of the admissions officers reading the application will be that the activity listed first is the most important. First impressions count.
In general, between 5 and 10 hours per week for each main activity is a good benchmark, depending on how many activities you are involved in and how much time you devote to other responsibilities. (Remember to never let your academics suffer at the expense of extracurriculars!)
Whether your GPA be weighted or unweighted, as long as you report it correctly on a 4.0 scale, you should be fine.
