Click the "Request to Drop Course" button to submit your request. Send an email to CSU_Online_Registration@mail.colostate.edu and include your name and the course (s). You will receive confirmation of your course changes. It is your responsibility to retain registration documents as proof of courses changes.

All late adds are subject to a $50 late fee, as well as all other applicable tuition and fee charges. If the late add was required due to documentable extenuating circumstances or university error, a $50 Late Fee Appeal may be submitted to ask that this charge be removed.
When withdrawing from a course, a W will appear in place of the grade. This does not impact GPA. There is no refund of charges associated with the course in the case of a withdrawal for an on-campus course. Withdrawing from a course can affect your financial aid eligibility.
If you are a graduate student withdrawing from the University, you need to consult your academic department regarding the readmission process. If you are receiving financial assistance (graduate assistant-ship, fellowship or other means of financial support), you must contact your department before you leave the university.
Any student who has withdrawn from the University has the option of using the CSU Health Network, under the previous semester fee, for up to 30 days following termination of student status in order to coordinate other care coverage, pending approval by the Director of Counseling, Director of Specialty Counseling, Director of Psychiatry, Director of Medical Services and/or the Director of Specialty Medical Services. This is applicable for any semester and for any insurance coverage, excluding the Student Health Insurance Plan (see below).

No refunds. Credit card refunds require up to seven business days; check refunds may take up to four weeks and will be mailed to the address on file. Existing balances will be paid prior to issuing a refund.

Students who are on probation 2 (second semester) may submit an academic dismissal appeal for an additional semester of probation in which to raise their CUM GPA to a 2.0.

If you are appealing to drop or withdraw from a credit course, be aware of the following information: 1 You may only keep financial aid for classes you attended. 2 The financial aid that you receive is proportional to the length of time that you were enrolled in the course. Thus, you may be required to return financial aid funds immediately.
