Instructors: Due to frequent requests, Canvas course shells automatically appear on instructor’s dashboards several terms before they begin. Course shells can be hidden from the dashboard as desired using the instructions below. [Red Box] Click the Courses menu item. [Red Box] Click All Courses.
Removing a course from the Dashboard simply removes it from that view, it will not remove it from the all courses page. Click the gold star to turn it into a white star. If there are no gold stars then Canvas will display all courses listed within above the Past Enrollments section.
Unfortunately, we don’t delete courses from Canvas. We recommend unpublishing the course or simply following the directions above to remove it from your Dashboard.
In Week view, you can only drag your event to the end of the week that you are viewing. To view all your calendar items in an agenda format, click the Agenda button. If your institution has enabled Scheduler, you can manage Scheduler events directly in each course calendar.
