Your 7-digit Course Access Code is a number you should have received when you registered for the course. It also should have been issued on the receipt with the materials that were mailed to you. If you have lost this code please call the customer service desk at: 1-800-914-8931.
You can access your course by visiting is.byu.edu, and clicking the Sign in button at the top. Sign in with your BYU Net ID and password, and select your course from the list of your current registrations. Click the Access Your Course button on the Enrollment Overview page; your course should open in Buzz.

The Add Classes page in MyMAP allows you to search for classes you want to register for. Once you find the class you want to add, click the action links in the left-hand columns of the add-class table.
Go into MyMAP and click on Add a Class to search for classes. Select classes and save them to your cart by clicking on the “C”. Go to your cart, drag and drop to put classes in order of priority, and Submit your cart by 6 p.m. MT the day before your priority registration date. If you need to edit your cart, go ahead!
Full-time U.S. citizens and permanent residents To be considered full-time for tuition purposes, students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents must register for at least 8.5 credit hours in both fall and winter semesters or at least 4.5 credit hours in a term.
Independent Study University Credits earned in our 200+ accredited university courses can transfer to BYU and almost all other U.S. schools.
It is a DIFFICULT, UNCOMPREHENSIBLE, UNHELPFUL program. It burns your interest out because of the horrible teaching and assignments. If you are looking to skip courses, or take courses over the summer, DO NOT USE IT. IT IS TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, JUST TERRIBLE.

The course needs to know where to look for your CD. First, make sure you have the course CD in your computer. Then, complete the CD-ROM portion of your course. Some courses list this as "CD-ROM setup" on the left hand menu, and others will have a "CD-ROM setup" beneath the "Computer Setup" menu item.

BYU Online courses must be completed by the end of the semester. Each course includes assignment deadlines designed to help you complete the course on time. In some courses, you may be able to work ahead.

Permission-to-add codes allow you to register for a class that is either full, has a limitation that you don’t meet, or needs special authorization. These codes are valid for the specific class, section, and year-term. They only work once and expire after the add/drop deadline. They will not work if you have a registration hold. The instructor or the department must be willing to give permission-to-add codes; they may choose not to.
You cannot register for the additional hours until the first day of the semester.
A term class is 8 weeks (half a semester). Classes are completed at an accelerated pace, but the tuition deadlines and charges are the same as semester classes. During fall and winter, Term 1 courses run during the first 8 weeks of instruction, and Term 2 courses run during the last 8 weeks of instruction. Registering only for term classes and not registering for Fall/Winter semesters is not encouraged.

Some classes have prerequisite courses that you must take before you can register for them.
You cannot take a course and its prerequisite course in the same semester or term.
This means that if you have a withdrawal of membership, have formal membership restrictions, or are disaffiliated from the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you cannot attend BYU until you are in good standing.
