The wait for a child care space is approximately one year to eighteen months. It is very important that you contact the centre to make an appointment for a centre tour once you have put your child on the wait list. Our wait list is broken down into three categories (Brock University students/staff and faculty/community members).
This is a very long time to be put on the waitlist. 1. level 1. linty-socks. · 1y. Ugh. I also specifically remember hearing it closed in May. Then when I emailed in mid-May they said as a result of the pandemic it would be closer to early June. It just seems like no one has heard anything.
Just waiting to hear from York. When I called Brock they said that those on the waitlist will hear back until May 1st. To give you an idea though, let's say that they expect 200 students to either not qualify for their requirements for the program or 200 people don't choose Brock, then they'll only send out 200 waitlist offers. So stay hopeful.
