I am definitely forgetting a lot and I’m sure others can add a lot more. Now this is not meant to disparage those having a hard time. And Cornell has its fair share of problems that can’t be denied but that is like any other college.
You can view the Courses page as a list or a grid. Each course card lists the course ID, course title, and instructor. If your course has multiple instructors, select Multiple Instructors for a list. Select More info to see the description and schedule, if added.. You can see unavailable courses in your course list, but you can't access them.

What can a Guest access? Users enrolled as 'Guest' in a Blackboard course have very limited access to the course. You are not registered for the course. Check the detailed class schedule to confirm whether you are registered for that course. The Canvas course site is not yet published by the instructor. A course site isn't visible to students until the instructor manually publishes the Canvas site.Aug 24, 2021
Can Blackboard see if you opened other tabs? Blackboard cannot see if you have opened other tabs on your computer if a secure proctoring or lockdown browser is not installed on your computer. The past few semesters have proven that there's no reason why lectures can't be recorded and uploaded, other than that professors might prefer to not go through the effort. It's extremely disappointing from a learning perspective that Cornell has decided to stop encouraging recordings.

A complete course is in a read-only state. Enrolled students can open the course and access the course content as normal, but are not able to interact in the course, such as participate in discussions or submit assignments.
You may find it most useful to bulk delete course materials at the end of a course. You can select the materials you want to delete and keep the rest for use in the future. For example, you can delete students and grades from a course, but keep the content.
Only instructors can set a course to complete from the Courses page. Administrators can control course availability from the Administrator Panel, but can't mark a course as complete in this area. On the Courses page, instructors can control availability for the courses that they teach.

HELP! When I enrolled in some of my BTEC courses in April, the courses stated an online option would be available for all the courses I selected at UH-Sugarland. This was important to me as I have courses to take at UH-main as well. When I checked my course schedule today, I noticed that all, but one of those courses was changed to face-to-face.
Guest Access provides limited course access to view course materials in specifically designated content areas. Certain areas of the course are never available to guests. The areas that cannot be accessed include communication areas such as discussion boards, journals, blogs, or wikis.
By default, guest access in Blackboard is disabled for all courses. If you want someone with an existing Mason user name to be able to access certain areas of your Blackboard site, without having to be enrolled in the course, you can enable guest access. A user without a Mason username can be provided a link to your course.
