Content folders offer a familiar, tree-like structure that provides convenient access to files on a content server without having to use that server's own user interface (web-based or otherwise). They are essentially like the directories on your local computer, but they point to virtual locations on the content server.
In the top-right corner of the Course Content area, select More options for course content (3 dots) > Copy Content. Select the plus sign that divides the Course Content area, and select Copy Content. Exporting a course creates a ZIP file of the course content called a course package. You can import course packages back into Blackboard Learn to create a new course with the same content. Exporting a course includes only the course content.
The SCORM package will be in the Archive/Export resource folder named in the line, res00014 in this case. Enter the folder, res00014 in this case. Select all the items INSIDE, then use Windows 'Send to Compressed' or perhaps a program like 7zip to build a zip package of the contents.
In Course Files, use the Overwrite File function in a file's menu to browse for the edited file on your computer. The system overwrites the existing file in Course Files with the same name, even if the file from your computer has a different name. If the file is linked in your course, the link remains intact and the edits appear.
To perform a quick search of Course Files, expand the Files section of the Control Panel. Type a keyword or text string in the box and select Go. Searches are not case sensitive. Results appear on the Search Content page. The search produces files and folders in the specific course, not from across courses.
User folders are personal, private folders where you can store content that you're not yet ready to share. When you select Content Collection from the navigation bar, you are brought to the My Content screen, which lists your user folders and files. To add a new folder in this location, select Create Folder.
A course folder for each course appears by default under Courses. Within each course, you can create additional subfolders. To add a new folder in a course, select Create Folder.
Group folders are similar to course folders, but they're shared with certain groups instead of with all users. You can make group folders available to individual groups or organizations for them to use as collaboration areas. After you create a group folder, edit permissions to grant course groups access to the folder.
