To view Course Files in a course, go to Course Management > Files and select the course ID in the menu. This is the top-level folder that contains the files and folders you uploaded to your course. Select a title to see a folder's contents or to view a file. Switch views. You can view files and folders in Course Files as a list of file names or as thumbnail icons.
With Course Files, you have access to all of your files for a specific course. You can organize, view, manage, and link to those files according to your needs. Course Files provides file storage on the Blackboard server for a single course.
With the release of 9.1, Blackboard recommends using the /courses directory for Course Files storage. The reuse of course packages works seamlessly with /courses and the system properly stores and organizes files any time course materials are reused.

You can create a collection of files or an entire lesson, including cascading style sheets (CSS), zip it into a package, and upload it into Course Files from your computer.
You may want to keep a compressed folder intact when you upload it to your course. For example, if you want to include several images for students to use in a presentation.
