How often are scholarships and fellowships considered?

Applications for University fellowships and graduate scholarships areconsidered only once a year as part of the admission process. Awardsare made for the academic year beginning with the fall semester. U.S.citizens and permanent residents should complete the “Free Applicationfor Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA) for determination of financial need.

Is a graduate stipend taxable?

Graduate stipends are not subject to U.S. income tax deductions butare taxable income. For teaching appointments, salary is typically paidin five equal installments per semester. Domestic visitor fees apply to those who are not currently enrolled in a degree program at a University of California campus. This includes all U.S. college students, high school students (in the non-residential program), and non-students (general public). *Fees are subject to change.

Is the Class Pass Transit fee refundable?

Class Pass Transit Fee becomes non-refundable once your first session begins. For Summer 2021, the Class Pass Fee is refundable if you withdraw by the refund deadline of your first enrolled session.
