Where did Meldman grow up?

Meldman grew up in a close-knit family in Milwaukee, Wis. His father sold life insurance, and his mother stayed at home and raised their kids. The family moved to the Phoenix area when Meldman was 12, like so many other Midwestern families did at the time, looking for sunnier skies and brighter opportunities.
