Mar 31, 2015 · Answer. DO look on youtube, there are many posts. I truly think you may have miss aligned the cam gears when you place the belt on and rotated to enusre the marks matched up. You could be off by just 1 tooth. You could have tightened your belt to much,this will cause the crankshaft to rotate in one direction too far thus throwing your timing off.
