Instructors can no longer add or remove members using the People tool, send messages to students in the course, or edit course content. You may be able to view your grades for courses that have ended. Depending on the grade calculation for your course, your total grade may display as a point value or as a percentage. Go into the Grades tool, and click on the gear icon at the upper left. Select "download grades", and a spreadsheet of your current grades will be downloaded to your computer. Canvas also keeps a history of the grades that have been entered and/or changed.

This is one of the great features in Canvas as you can assign the quiz or assignment to different students or sections with their own due dates or availability dates and times. However, if you replace everyone or someone who has previously taken the quiz then all of their grades will no longer be visible in the grades.

Concluding an enrollment allows the user to view a course in read-only mode. This means the user will be able to access the course but not be able to submit assignments, participate in discussions, or send/receive conversation messages in the course. The user's analytics will still be available.
You can Unpublish the course by going to the Home page and clicking Unpublish. This will remove the Dashboard Card link from all student accounts. Note: Once you have added a grade for any student, you can no longer Unpublish the course site.
